Hi Jo, just wondering if you could have a read through my introduction and let me know what you think, Thanks. I also cant think of a hypothesis that would be suitable.

What Copyright Protection Does a Multimedia Product Have?
There are many types of multimedia products ranging from digital media to text based media. Without Copyright protection companies and individuals are able to be ‘steal’ or use others work. 1 “The most frequently encountered kind of Copy right is the right to copy or to authorise by others, whether from paper of electronic database or indeed any form of ‘recorded information’.”
In this report the desire of the researcher is to find out what type of Copyright protection is available to all types of multimedia products in the world today. It is essential for multimedia products to have a Copyright Law as they are valued so highly. 2 “Statistics show that the multimedia market, excluding video games, was worth US $23.9 billion in 1997. Of course part of the reason why these statistics look so impressive is that the spread of new technology took place mainly in this period.”
Aims and Objectives
·         Who can claim a Copyright?
·         What is Copyright infringement?
·         What is the general history of the law?
When the author creates a piece of work, it becomes his/her property. The author or whoever wants the rights to the piece of work is then authorized to claim a Copyright.3 “Then it’s clear it is meant for the preservation of the rights of the creator of a work.”
Copyright infringement is an act of breaching the rights of the Copyright owner. Downloading illegal music or copying movies are good examples of Copyright infringement, 4 “Unauthorized access to any of the original pieces of work is nothing but Copyright infringement.”
5 “The world’s first Copyright law, the Statute of Anne, was enacted in England in 1710.  Exercising its power under the newly adopted Constitution to secure the rights of authors and inventors” It was not until 1956 that a Copyright Act was introduced for the protection of films. The law has changed over the years due to the infringement incidents, the initial law of Copyright was to prevent purely literary works being infringed, but now includes dramatic and musical performances.

VARK Test Results

My results are as follows:

Total number of V's: 8
Total number of A's: 12
Total number of R's: 6
Total number of K's: 9

This means I am an aural learner. I was expecting the results of this test to show I am an aural leraner, this is beacuse in all other things that I have taken part in the same has been said. The VARK websites states that aural learners learn best in group discussions or speaking instead of writing. This is exactly the way I like to leatn and the best way I learn.

Myers Brigg Type Indicator Results

My results for the test were:

E
N
F
J

This comes to 3% of the population having these results!
